Sam Mendes shoots the movie as though one continuous two-hour slot which enhances the horrors of war and the against-the-clock nature of threat, leaving you speechless.

It's no surprise that the feature has 10 Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score, Best Cinematography, Best Make-up and Hairstyling, Best Production Design, Best Visual Effects.
